The Complete Word Study New Testament by Spiros Zodhiates

Vine's Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words (OT, NT)

Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament by Harris, Archer, Waltke (Vol I, II)

The Englishman's Hebrew Concordance of the Old Testament by George Wigram

The New Englishman's Greek Concordance and Lexicon (NT) by Wigram-Green

Evangelical Dictionary of Theology by Elwell

'Systematic Theology' by Wayne Grudem

'Systematic Theology' by Louis Berkhof

'Systematic Theology' by Vincent Cheung

'Concise Theology' by J.I. Packer

Good resources for writings on individual Bible subjects:

www.monergism.com   (Monergism)

www.bible.org

www.carm.org   (C.A.R.M. - Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry) (see Matt Slick's Theology section)

www.desiringgod.org   (Desiring God - John Piper and other writers)

www.ccel.org/ccel/calvin/institutes.toc.html    (Calvin's Institutes online)

(and many other wonderful theologically sound websites and blogs. Thank You, Lord, for the feast online!)

Note: Our strong preference is to use the Bible and good Bible study tools that open up God's Word - first and foremost. After that, excellent commentaries can be useful and have a place in our Bible studies, but it is very important to know what Scriptures say for ourselves first.
